5-inch super amoled screen (1280 x 720 pixels), 1.3Ghz quad core Mediatek MT6735, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable), 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual SIM, Android 5.0, 5,000mAh battery, 176 grams

Gionee's Marathon series of phones are aimed at users who are just fed up with charging their phones every day (or multiple times a day, for some users). While the phones offer excellent battery life, performance has not typically been a strong suit.Gionee wants to fix this issue with the new Marathon M4.

The battery capacity of the M4 is the same as its predecessor (Marathon M3) 5,000mAh.Thanks to the massive battery, we could easily (and regularly) get over two and half days of use on a full charge. Keep in mind that this is with constant data connectivity (3G or WiFi), calls, messaging, two email accounts, social media, 1 to 2 hours of multimedia every day and regular camera usage. The downside to such a large battery is that the phone weighs 176 grams and feels heavy for the size.

One of the issues with the previous phones in the series was the entry-level hardware and basic performance. The M4 comes has a 1.3Ghz quad core Mediatek processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage specifications that are good enough for most users.Gionee has used the MT6735Mediatek processor that also supports Indian 4G bands adding to the overall value. We had no issues playing full HD videos, switching between multiple (more than 10) running apps as well as playing games like Dead Trigger 2. It runs the Amigo 3.0 user interface (based on Android Lollipop) and it works well. There is no app drawer so all icons and widgets are placed on home screen panels. While the user interface animations are smooth, they tend to feel slow at times this can be fixed by reducing animation speeds in developer options or by installing a third party launcher like Nova.

Around the back is an 8MP camera with LED flash while the front has a 5MP unit. The rear camera takes excellent images with good details and rich colours (outdoors and indoors).Photos taken in low light are also good enough to share on social networks. Front camera also takes sharp images but tends to have washed out colours.

What's more impressive is that Gionee has not cut corners even in terms of build quality. The phone feels good in the hand thanks to the metal frame. The display is a 5-inch super amoled unit with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. No doubt the amoled screen also helps with the improved battery life. The screen itself has excellent viewing angles, vibrant colour and superb sunlight legibility. Under the screen are the three touch sensitive Android buttons that work well, but to our disappointment, they are not backlit.

For the price, the M4 proves to be excellent value for money. It combines top-notch build quality and great performance with best in class battery life.

Халохот вырвался из вращающейся двери в тот момент, когда Беккер попытался завести мотоцикл. Убийца улыбнулся и начал поднимать пистолет. Заслонка. Беккер повернул рычажок под топливным баком и снова нажал на стартер.
